About Us

I'm Sidra Shaikh, and ananas started in 2018 because I couldn't find what I was looking for. After two years working in a leading fashion retail (Sana Safinaz), I understood exactly how clothes were made, priced, and sold. What I didn't understand was why nobody was making sleepwear for Pakistani women that felt genuinely beautiful. Modest, well-made, considered. So I left my job and made it myself.

What began as a small sleepwear label has grown into something broader. We now make pajama sets, co-ords, dresses, and kaftans, some designed purely for home and some made to be worn beyond it. The through line across everything is the same: clothing that feels intentional, comfortable, and quietly elegant. Nothing loud. Nothing disposable.

What we make

At ananas, we design sleepwear and loungewear for Pakistani women who want to feel as good at home as they do anywhere else. Our collections are modest by design, not as a constraint but as a choice. We work in fabrics that breathe: linen, cotton, and soft blends chosen for how they feel against your skin. The details are deliberate. Piping trims, considered prints, silhouettes that flatter without trying too hard.

We've grown to include co-ords and kaftans that move easily between home and outside, because comfort shouldn't stop at your front door. Every piece we make has to earn its place in the collection. We'd rather offer fewer things that are genuinely good than fill a page with things that are merely fine.

Seven years of doing this right

Since 2018, we've built a brand that Pakistani women trust for the most personal part of their wardrobe. We've learned what works, soft neutrals, complete sets, modest silhouettes, and what doesn't. Every collection is shaped by that knowledge.

We're a small, dedicated team. Orders are packed with care. When you reach out, a real person responds. That's not a policy. It's simply how we do things.
